From Humble
Beginnings to Industry Leader
Ed Crothall is the Country Developer for JAN-PRO Commercial Cleaning, but his connection to the cleaning industry runs much deeper— it’s a part of his family legacy.
He is the grandson of Alan Crothall, founder of Crothall and Co, the company that pioneered contract hospital cleaning globally. From its beginnings in Christchurch, in 1943, Crothall and Co expanded to employ over 22,000 people across five countries, cleaning nearly every hospital in New Zealand, as well as schools, banks, offices and other public buildings.
Ed saw in JAN-PRO Commercial Cleaning a model that aligned with his values and vision. “I love the business model,” he says. “JAN-PRO Commercial Cleaning powers entrepreneurial, hardworking people to build a business, create wealth, and provide for their families."
